Let the countdown begin...8 weeks to go!

We officially have less than 8 weeks to go before little Graham is due to arrive. Frankly, I'm hoping he comes a bit early... doesn't every pregnant woman? These next few weeks are vital to Graham's weight gain and apparently a lot of the weight I gain is going directly to him-which is fine by me! I'm intrigued to see myself in pictures in these last 2 months because although I feel like I can't get any bigger, I know I will.

At our doctor visit today I learned that I had lost a pound and my belly was measuring the same as it was at my last appointment. That came as a surprise to me as I certainly feel bigger. When I go back in 3 weeks I will be getting an ultrasound to make sure Graham is on track with his growth. And in the meantime I suppose I will just have to eat more! In the spirit of that, Alex and I dined at P.F. Chang's this evening. Appetizer, meals, and dessert-delicious!

This past week has brought on some new pregnancy symptoms: restless nights, frequent trips to the bathroom (I used to go the whole night without having to get up), and much needed mid-day naps. All of which are completely normal and a definite sign to me that the end is drawing near.

Alex and I went to one of our first classes last night. We have breastfeeding, childbirth preparation, and baby care class to get through. We are kind of squeezing them all in within these next few weeks and will be done by the middle of May. And after 6 classes I'm sure we'll be experts at all things baby, right? Haha, right.

Easter in Foxborough

Alex, Lorri, and Graham (almost 30 weeks)

Alex and I spent our Easter weekend in Foxborough, Massachusetts. As you can see, the weather was gorgeous. It was wonderful to spend time with family and celebrate his Grammie's 75th birthday. And since we were around others, we were able to get a picture together. This is hard to do when it's just the 2 of us. Perhaps we should train Brannock to point and shoot:)
